Marnie Old

Marnie Old is one of the country's top wine personalities and a breath of fresh air in the stuffy wine world.  She is a successful wine author, a leading wine educator, an authoritative media figure and a high-profile sommelier.  Marnie's first book is the acclaimed He Said Beer, She Said Wine, an entertaining debate on food pairing with co-author Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head Craft Brewery.  Her newest book, the newly launched Wine Secrets, is a collection of concise and practical wine advice shared by 40 of the world's top wine experts.  Formerly the director of wine studies for Manhattan's iconic French Culinary Institute, Marnie also served as the founding education chairperson for the American Sommelier Association.  She continues to teach for New York's Astor Center and Philadelphia's Temple University.
